The Union County Sheriff's Office and The Independence Fund are proud to announce the upcoming 5th Annual UCSO Salute to Veterans Ceremony and Luncheon to be held on Friday, November 8, 2024. This year's ceremony will feature Kyle Morgan as our guest speaker!

All military veterans and active-duty service members are invited to this ceremony and are welcome to bring a guest with them. A free Smoke Pit lunch will be provided for each veteran in attendance and their guest. Each Veteran in attendance will receive several tokens of appreciation during the ceremony/luncheon and will also be eligible to receive one of the several large ticket raffle items that will be given away during the lunch portion of the event.

The ceremony will begin at 11:00 A.M. and will be held at Lee Park Baptist Church which is located at 2491 Morgan Mill Road in Monroe, NC. We are asking that all guests RSVP by completing the online registration form below or by emailing Ms. Sharon Walden at Sharon.Walden@unioncountync.gov. Guests without access to email may also contact Ms. Walden by phone at (704)292-2610 to reserve their seat. We look forward to honoring all of our nation’s military veterans during this special ceremony and luncheon.
