Operations

The Operations Division is comprised of the patrol bureau, as well as smaller, specialized units. Captain Rogers also oversees those deputies assigned to the towns of Lake Park, Marvin, Weddington and Wesley Chapel.

Investigations

The Investigations Division is divided into smaller specialized units: Detective Unit, Narcotics Unit, and the Community Services Unit.

Detention

The Detention Division includes the Judicial Services Bureau and the Courts and Jail Bureau.

Indian Trail Contract Division

The Indian Trail Contract Division is a contract deputy program between the Union County Sheriff’s Office and the Town of Indian Trail that began in the early 1990s.

Crime Laboratory Division

The Crime Laboratory Division is comprised of Crime Scene (CSI), the Digital Forensics Unit, the Latent Print Unit, and the Evidence Unit.
