At approximately 10:15 this morning, UCSO deputies were dispatched to a residence inthe 5000-block of Paddle Wheel Lane in the Crismark subdivision in order to conduct awell-being check. The Sheriff’s Office had received information from multiple sources thata potentially deceased female victim was inside of the home. Due to the nature of the reported information, multiple UCSO deputies, detectives, and members of the Special Response Team responded to the home and ultimately located an adult female, identified as 48-year-old Ashley Drinnon, inside of the home deceased. During the initial response and investigation, the husband of the female victim, 53-year-old Timothy Drinnon (pictured below), was taken into custody and was transported to the Union County Jail,where he has since been charged with First Degree Murder.
Detectives remain hard at work determining Drinnon’s potential motives in the killing of
his wife and will continue to follow up on any and all leads that may arise. If anyone has
